Back emerging organisations
We work with young organisations that show the potential for excellence — and the courage to try what does not yet exist.
We are Accelerating the work of changemakers for the transitions ahead.
Explore our vision ↓We live in a time of polycrisis: accelerating ecological disruption, rising inequality, geopolitical tension and a profound loss of trust in old answers.
Yet periods of uncertainty are also moments when new models can emerge. Faatupu exists to identify, support and connect the people and organisations building those models — so we can navigate the transition with greater confidence and imagination.
What distinguishes us is an entrepreneurial DNA: a belief in the future, a bias for action and a test-and-learn mindset. We do not pretend to have every answer. We help promising ideas become stronger, one useful experiment at a time.
Faatupu is a collective launched by Romain Liot ↗ — an entrepreneur, author of Reset Fashion ↗, and passionate advocate for sustainability.
It brings together people, ideas and organisations that believe transition happens by testing new models, learning in the open and building on the strength of existing structures.
Entrepreneurship is exhilarating, difficult and often lonely. Our support moves between funding and friendship, strategy and a simple conversation — depending on what the moment requires.
We work with young organisations that show the potential for excellence — and the courage to try what does not yet exist.
We stand behind young people, founders and teams who see uncertainty as a place to build, learn and create lasting value.
We combine philanthropic funding with hands-on advising, adapting our support to what will unlock the next step.
We leverage our experience and network to make useful introductions, give the right advice and remain available to brainstorm, challenge or simply listen.
We treat constraints, surprises and setbacks as useful material — looking for the lesson, the opening and the next practical move.
We combine honest feedback with confidence in what is possible, helping teams protect their energy and move forward with perspective.
